It is important to be an active member of the community, to offer each other guidance and support and to streamline our efforts towards a common goal, whether in terms of governance/administration, education, research, or the wider community. The links on the left list my current activities.

Education coordination

The Twente Educational Model (TOM) encourages problem and project based learning for increased retention and knowledge utilisation, whilst also streamlining our education programmes for cost reduction. Implementation of TOM requires complex coordination. I am involved as follows:
  1. Module Coordinator of the 4th academic quarter of the Advanced Technology degree programme (ATMOD4).
  2. Module Coordinator of the 9th academic quarter of the Applied Physics degree programme (TNMOD9).
  3. Course Coordinator of Dynamical Systems in the Advanced Technology degree programme.
  4. Course Coordinator of Classical Mechanics in the Applied Physics degree programme.
  5. Course Coordinator of Soft and Biological Matter in the Applied Physics degree programme.
  6. Course Coordinator of Ions and Devices in the Applied Physics Master programme.
